Dear Sunshine,

Sometimes things happen in life that make you end up not in the best situation.  Some of these things you can control and some of these things you cannot control.  No matter what happens in your life always remember that there is some good in people always.  Everybody has potential to do good and be nice to people it just is a matter if you can bring out the best in them, which you my dear will be able to bring the best out in anyone.  Even if you are having a bad day and things aren’t going your way you just wait it out and then out of the blue BAM something happens and it turns your whole day around when you realize the amazing acts of kindness that all people are capable of.  People really are amazing, good doing, beings.  Always remember that.

Thank you, really thank you.  Any person who has ever helped me in any way or sent kind words my way, just thank you all, really.

Dear Sunny,

We have fallen into a rut.  In the future life is going to throw you a ton of unexpected curve balls.  Just remember when life throws you lemons find some sugar in it and make some god damn lemonade.  With you lemonade just comes naturally.  Thank you for being my sunshine even when all I want to do is cry.  Thank you thank you thank you.

Dear Sunny Rae,

We are currently both sicklings.  Last night you kept waking up with this piercing scream that just broke my heart and when we picked you up you instantly calmed down.  You and me are both super snotty, you got a tiny cough, and I hope you don’t have a sore throat like me.  Tis the season to be joyfully sick I guess.  Feel better soon little girl.

Dear Sunny,

Happy 1st Thanksgiving!!!  We decided to be super awesome and blend up some dank turkey for you.  You of course gobbled it right up (see what I did there eh eh?).  You also got to meet lots of silly people.  Don’t worry little girl the older you get the less in your face people will be to you.  Anyways I am very very thankful for you being as wonderful and healthy as you are.  Keep ruling at life Sunny, I love you.

You just rolled over from your tummy to your back for the first time.  I am one proud mama.

Dear Sunshine,

Sometimes when you are sleep eating and I sneeze you startle real big and let out the saddest little squeal cry of all time.  I’m going to work on the whole not sneezing thing just for you.
