Dear Sunny,
This winter is the first winter that you can actually walk around and play in the snow. I took you outside and you looked around for a minute in awe. Then you played a little bit with the snow and it was very very cute. I can’t wait for more snows so we can build snowmen, make snow angles, go sledding, and have snowball fights with you.
Dear Sunshine,
You LOVE reading. I mean you REALLY love reading. We have been reading books to you every night since you were an itty bitty and I think you have come accustomed to that little tradition and I love that. You have a million and 1 toys, but all day long I see you sitting with your nose in books. You will bring books up to us to read, you point at things in the book and we tell you what they are and you repeat us, you read books by yourself all the time making up the words and sounds. My favorite is when you are in the other room and I haven’t heard you make a noise in a minute and I walk in there to check on you and you are sitting on our bed reading a book; it is the cutest thing. I’m not gonna lie, if you only want to read and read and never play with your toys I will not mind at all. You can learn so much from books and I see that you already are learning that you have a love for books. I love you my sweet sweet reading little girl.

I can’t believe it is already almost your 2nd Halloween! This blows my mind. They had a trick-or-treating thing downtown so we took you to it. We dressed you as Princess Peach to go with our Mario family costume theme. I have to say you looked very very cute, and I was so stoked that you kept your crown on pretty much the entire time. You were really good about picking one piece of candy out of the buckets. There was a guy dressed up as Shrek handing out candy and when we went up to him you shook your head no and hid; I laughed. You had a really fun time and we promise to share your candy with you! =]
Dear Sunny Rae,
I swear to god I just heard you count to 4 all by yourself! You are sitting there picking pineapples off of your pizza and I asked you “can you count them?” and you said “un, do, phee, fo”. Am I just crazy or did you really just do that? You are some kind of smart little girl.
Dear Sunshine,
Your personality is of like no child I have ever seen before. You are the most friendly human in this whole entire world. You are willing to share most everything with everyone. On the bus you smile and wave to every single person who comes on and wave bye-bye when we get off as well. I truly believe you could change the world with your attitude towards life and that smile. You have your fair share of melt downs and tantrums, but for the most part you are very well behaved for your age; you say ‘pah’ (please) constantly and you said ‘ta-ooo’ (thank you) for the first time yesterday as well. I just, I don’t even know little girl, you seriously just light up my whole life. Every day you do something that makes me my heart melt. I think your compassion towards others has to be one of my favorite parts about you though. Any time I’m sad, it’s like you sense those emotions and you come over and sit in my lap and give me cuddles and kisses. When you hear Buggy crying you go over to give him kisses, or “ssshhh” him, or pat his back. My little Cancer child, I adore you.

Anytime we get out the camera or ask you to smile this is the cheesy little smile we get! I absolutely love it. There are many pictures of me as a baby with this same squinty eyed, chin up, cheesing face and it just makes me so happy that you do this same smile. You make me smile little girl.
Dear Sunshine,
You are the most amazing little girl about going on the potty. We taught you a sign for potty and now anytime you have to go you make the sign and say ‘pa pa’ and we put you on the potty. We got you this new one that goes on top of the big potty because you seemed to be more interested in the big potty instead of the little potty we bought you. Also we can take it with us so you can fit on the potty at Walmart or where ever we are. You are down to about 3 dirty diapers a day so I think you will be out of diapers in the next few months for good. Sometimes you even go through your naps without wetting and I don’t think I’ve changed a poopy diaper in at least a week. I’m proud of you little girl.
Dear Sunshine,
Your favorite thing as of currently is hiding from us. The other day you were hiding and we couldn’t find you! You are so quiet and make no movement what so ever when you are hiding. We were calling your name and still nothing. You were hiding in our closet. Your favorite places to hide are behind our chair, behind doors, under blankets, and behind your hands. My favorite though is when you crouch down and put your head in between your knees and just hide your face and then pop up and surprise us. You are too cute little girl.

They had a water day at the park last week. We went of course and you had fun. A little girl older than you came over and held your hand and helped you walk around and stuff. We got sprayed in the sprinklers which was fun. And of course you loved the bubbles probably the most.
Dear Sunny,
We bought you a baby doll the other week because we thought it would be nice for you to be able to play with your baby while we were taking care of Buggy. Besides choking it out on occasion, you seem to be doing a great job.
Dear Sunny,
You grew out of your swaddling stage around 4months but ever since Buggy has arrived you have wanted to take up swaddling again. You don’t let us actually swaddle you because you of course still want to move your arms, but you do love when we wrap a blanket somewhat around you and call you “the swaddle baby”. You also are a huge fan of hiding under blankets and playing peekaboo.
